The cooking and farming experience at Fontanaro
Fall in love with Tuscany Umbria through its food, olive oils, wines and culture, taste our ” SLOW FOOD COOKING CLASS” at Fontanaro Farm house in Tuscany Umbria.
This is a real country living experience where you’ll learn some italian, all about wines and olive oil of Italy as well per the secret of the real italian cooking.
Our cooking classes are small and are designed for anyone who wants to cook, from the beginner to the more experienced home chef.
Our Cooking experience provide an opportunity to learn the basic of the wonderful art of authentic Italian cooking, and agricultural culture in an historic restored Umbrian Tuscan villa set in the beautiful and tranquil locations 60 minutes south of Florence, and 90 minutes north of Rome, Italy.
You will visit and learn a lot from our mill, cellar and labs.
Our “The Cooking experience at Fontanaro” allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of Umbria and Tuscany and learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Be sure that you will have a real SLOW FOOD responsible EXPERIENCE with dishes: “fatti in casa”, (home made) “con i prodotti tipici della zona” (Typical products of Italy) and that are “kilometro zero” (Km. 0).
This is a comprehensive hands on Italian cooking course designed to teach you to make superb course Italian dinners covering the basic Italian cooking techniques, from pasta to pastries and everything in between.
All of the ingredients you will use are come each morning from our organic vegetable garden and local markets and so you will be working with fresh fruit and vegetables in season.
