Ingredients: any kind of fruit: apricots, peaches, plums from our vegetable garden.
(handy tip for cooking would be better to use a pot with a heavy bottom … Le Creuset are great)
1 kg of ripe peaches
500 g of sugar (for those not on a diet you can decrease the amount of sugar 300 gr)
Peel the peaches, remove the stones and make them into small pieces. Bring to a boil and add the juice of half a lemon. Bake for 20 minutes
Then add sugar, 30 minutes
Let stand for about 5 minutes.
Put the jam into jars, small is better, seal tightly, invert the jars and cover with a dark cloth until they are completely cold.
Note: You can store in the pantry, preferably in the dark.
