My food my life

For more than fifteen years, I have dedicated my life to celebrating the beauty of Italian food, culture, and hospitality. My journey began in the kitchen, where I started teaching hands-on cooking classes and organizing boutique cat

ering experiences across Tuscany and Umbria. What started as a passion quickly became a mission: to share the soul of this region through its traditions, its ingredients, and the joy of cooking together.

Today, I run the Slow Cooking School while also managing il Fontanaro organic farm where we produce our award-winning extra virgin olive oil. Every bottle is made with the same care and integrity I bring to my classes — a deep respect for the land, sustainable farming, and the timeless rhythms of slow living.

My work expands beyond the kitchen as well. Many of our guests arrive in Italy dreaming of an authentic experience, and I love helping them shape it. As a travel concierge and advisor, I guide visitors through the hidden villages, flavors, and stories of Tuscany and Umbria. This passion is also reflected in my local travel guide, Tuscany Umbria Blog, where I share insider tips, curated itineraries, and the places I love most.

I hold a Master’s degree in Nutrition (Università la Sapienza, Rome), and I am a certified Italian olive oil and wine sommelier (AIS and AISO) — knowledge that allows me to teach not only how to cook, but how to taste, appreciate, and understand the ingredients and traditions behind every recipe.

Slow cooking is more than a single experience; it is a way of life. And I am here to welcome you into that world — one meal, one story, and one unforgettable experience at a time.

When I’m not hosting guests or working in the kitchen, you’ll most likely find me outdoors enjoying nature with my family. I have a special love for Labrador Retrievers, and my greatest joy is my daughter Stella, who is 9 years old — she reminds me every day what truly matters: simplicity, curiosity, and living life with an open heart.
